These terms supplement the Fibre Herd Terms of Use. In the event of a conflict concerning the marketplace, these terms prevail over the Terms of Use for the matter concerned.

1. Purpose and positioning

The Fibre Herd marketplace allows breeders to publish listings for:

• the sale of livestock;
• exchange;
• stud services (natural or AI), according to the fields provided.

2. Role of the platform

Fibre Herd acts as a publication and connection tool.

• No escrow: the Company does not hold funds on behalf of users.
• No commission on the price agreed between breeders (sale, exchange, stud service): the Company does not collect the price of transactions between users.
• Publishing listings: free with the Free plan within the limit of ten (10) free listings online at the same time, 90 days each (a listing that is withdrawn, sold or expired frees its place); included in the Starter / Farm / Pro subscriptions; beyond that, platform service fees apply via the single listing offer at 2,90 € TTC / 90 days (1,90 € TTC at the reduced price, in particular when republishing) (see the Subscription Terms and Conditions, Art. 2 bis and 4, and Pricing).
• The Company is not a party to the sale, exchange or stud-service contract concluded between users.
• Payment, delivery / transport of the animal, and health and pedigree guarantees are the responsibility of the parties.

Any change to this operating model would be subject to updated terms.

3. Advertisers (sellers / stud-service providers)

The advertiser guarantees:

• that they are authorised to dispose of the animal / the stud service advertised;
• the accuracy of the information published (species, sex, year of birth, fibre analyses displayed, pedigree, stud conditions, transport, price or “on request”, strengths);
• that they comply with the visibility matrix: only the fields ticked are public;
• that they will not publish misleading or unlawful content;
• that they will handle contact requests in good faith.

Seller / provider responsibility: the advertiser is solely responsible for the content of the listing and for the performance of the transaction with the other contracting party.

4. Buyers / requesters

Users who contact an advertiser undertake to:

• use the contact form for legitimate breeding purposes;
• not harass anyone or collect data for other purposes;
• check the animal, the documents and the conditions for themselves before making any commitment.

5. Listing content (product reminder)

Possible fields (at the breeder’s choice): region, year of birth, fleece weight, multi-year fibre history, stud conditions (fee, natural/AI, period), strengths text, link to the farm profile, transport information, Fibre Lab & Co analyses, shows, etc.

“Analysed at Fibre Lab & Co” badge: only if at least one analysis has been matched according to the lab rules.

6. Moderation and reporting

The Company may refuse, hide or remove any listing that breaches these terms, the Terms of Use or the law, or that falls outside the fibre / fleece purpose of the platform, and may suspend the account in the event of a serious breach.

Reporting: [email protected] (subject “Signalement marketplace” / “Marketplace report”), stating the URL and a description.

7. Personal data

Contact messages and listing data are processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy. The advertiser’s email address may remain hidden at the first contact (platform form).

8. Exclusion of liability (platform)

To the extent permitted by law, the Company is not liable for:

• disputes between users (price, animal health, non-conformity, transport, unsuccessful mating, etc.);
• content published by users;
• temporary unavailability of the catalogue.

9. Governing law
